Step into the powerful energy of the Year of the Horse with clarity, calm and confidence at Sugar Beach Ranch. In many traditions, the Horse symbolises momentum, courage and forward movement. This is your invitation to pause first — to release stress, reset your nervous system and step into the year feeling steady and strong. Guided by certified EFT practitioner Kellie Shields, founder of Tap & Thrive, this immersive one-day retreat blends Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping with meaningful horse connection and nature immersion. Often described as “emotional acupuncture,” EFT involves tapping on specific acupoints while addressing emotional challenges. This gentle yet powerful process helps reduce stress, shift emotional blocks and restore balance. Throughout the day, Kellie will guide you through practical techniques you can confidently use in everyday life. You’ll gain tools to: • Manage stress and emotional overwhelm • Break free from limiting beliefs • Strengthen resilience and emotional balance • Cultivate clarity, focus and confidence A key part of the experience includes mindful time with our gentle herd (non-riding). Horses naturally support nervous-system regulation and emotional clarity, creating a deeply grounding complement to the tapping work. Set across 60 acres of coastal paddocks, just moments from South Ballina Beach, Sugar Beach Ranch offers the perfect setting to reset. Open skies, salt air and wide space allow you to truly exhale. Cancellation Policy
Guests must carefully review, understand, and agree to our cancellation policy before securing their spot in our retreat: - We require a minimum of 5 bookings to facilitate an workshop, a full refund will be awarded if Sugar Beach Ranch is unable to proceed with the event. We will notify you 5-7 days from event. - Cancellations made with more than 60 days' notice before the retreat start date will receive a full refund, minus a $50 administration fee. - For cancellations received within 30 days of the retreat start date, refunds are not applicable. However, we offer the flexibility to reschedule to another available retreat date. - No changes or refunds can be facilitated within two weeks of the retreat start date. - In the event of a no-show, arriving on a date other than the confirmed booking, or an early departure, payments are non-refundable, and bookings are non-transferrable. COVID Positive Result: In the unfortunate event of a guest testing positive for COVID-19: If you test positive for COVID-19 and provide a doctor's certificate along with proof of testing, we offer the option to reschedule your position to a later retreat date. The itinerary is subject to change based on unpredictable weather and seasonal variations. Our top priority is ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests. Some adjustments may be necessary to navigate through any unforeseen challenges.
